Alison McDowell

Alison McDowell, Grant Coordinator, is liaison to the City of Ft. Walton Beach NPDES and supports ongoing Alliance efforts. A lifelong resident of Okaloosa County, Alison looks forward to developing projects that support CBA’s mission to provide opportunities for local resource users to actively participate in sustaining and enhancing the health of the Choctawhatchee Basin watershed. Alison will soon complete her MS degree in Environmental Science at the University of West Florida, where her studies focus on public participation in environmental research. As a Florida Master Naturalist in Coastal Systems, Alison shares her affinity for the environment with others through outdoor education experiences. Outside of work, Alison maintains Okaloosa County’s most active carpool, while looking forward to the day her teenagers can drive.
